Millet Oats Cookies: A Healthy Homemade Recipe

  • 110 grams A2 Ghee

  • 1/4 cup Khandsari Sugar (50g)

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (50g)

  • 1/4 cup Condensed Milk

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 130 grams Foxtail Millet Flour (1/2 cup)

  • 130 grams Oats Fine Powder (1/2 cup)

  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)


  1. Mix the iced ghee with khandsari sugar and brown sugar, beat it until the sugar granules fully melt down.

  2. Then add in the vanilla essence and condensed milk to the ghee mixture and then set it aside. 

  3. In another bowl sift all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder/soda, and caronb powder) 

  4. Mixx in ¼ cup of chocolate chips (optional)

  5. Mix in the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients in three parts

  6. Then make balls out the the cookie dough using a dough scooper 

  7. Cover the balls with a syringe wrap on the bowl so that the air doesn't get in 

  8. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hr or overnight for best results 

  9. Preheat the over for 10 mins on 180 C

  10. Then line the cookie dough balls on a parchment paper and bake it for 20-25 mins on 180 C 

  11. Cool it down on a rack and serve fresh with a glass of milk!
